Welcome to Human Race Running

Human Race has a selection of running events taking place throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for a scenic road race along The Thames, a pace education training event to get you ready for a Spring marathon, a women-only event, a forest or off-road run - there’s something here for you.

On this page you will find information about all of the Human Race running events including the latest event news and information about our various ambassadors. For tailored information on how to prepare for your running event visit the Preparation section and select your ability.

Human Race Pace Series

New to Human Race this year is the introduction of the Human Race Pace Series and extension of the ever popular Garmin Race Your Pace in February. Also included in the series is the Garmin Kingston Run Challenge in October and the Whole Foods Market Kingston Breakfast Run.

This series is designed to help you run your perfect race. Pre-race pace training information from our pace expert Martin Yelling, pacers to take you around the course against your target, regular timing mats to track your pace and detailed bespoke post-race feedback will help you achieve this.

To celebrate Stage 1 of the Tour de France beginning in Leeds, Harewood House is hosting the inaugural Dare 2b Yorkshire Festival of Cycling, giving you an opportunity not only to get within touching distance of the riders, but also to camp in the grounds of one of England’s finest houses for the whole weekend and enjoy a vast array of entertainment, shopping, food & drink and even to follow in the Tour riders’ tracks by joining ‘led-rides’ to key vantage points on the route and entering a host of cycling participation events.

The Matterhorn Ultraks Trail takes place in one of the most beautiful high mountain locations featuring the Matterhorn, the most photographed mountain in the world, as a backdrop during the whole run.

The start/finish line is located on Church Square in Zermatt where the race can be followed live on a giant screen, a great opportunity to discover the secrets of Zermatt and Switzerland.

Dorney Lake is a stunning location for a half marathon. We are also proud to have the Human Race Pace Team in attendance, who will offer runners the opportunity to understand and experience one of the key factors in running a successful race – pace judgement. This pancake-flat, four-lap course is ideal for you to find your correct pace and to smash your PB and timed to fit in with preparations in the run up to the London Marathon.
