Cycling Research Study
Whether you’re a novice or an experienced cyclist/triathlete we are inviting you to participate in a research study at London Southbank University! We are investigating the reproducibility of 30min cycling time-trial on a Turbo Bike using two different display software’s. Turbo bikes are often used for indoor cycling training.
Most laboratory settings use Lode and/or Monarch bikes which are not applicable to what cyclist/triathletes use day to day for training and competitions. Traditionally in cycling, cyclists use a power meter/Sprava/Garmin device to record their performance variables during training and competitions but how reliable are your devices in recording your data?
Therefore, we are investigating the reproducibility of 30min cycling time-trial on a Turbo Bike using two different display software’s. This study includes 3 visits to London Southbank University which each visit lasting approximately 1.5-2hours.
You will receive free critical power testing and a personalized fitness report based on your time-trial data which can be tailored to upcoming events!
