Cycletta heads to three stunning locations this September for 2015 finale

24th July 2015

Macmillan Cycletta has already got thousands of women on their bikes this year with three hugely successful events in South Wales, Bedfordshire and Scotland. We loved every minute of these great events, but we believe that the best riding is possibly still to come! With three events in September, and the widest ever range of distances available, there are no excuses not to join in!

After the summer break (when the school holidays will be out the way), Macmillan Cycletta returns to the picturesque Loseley Park in Surrey on Sunday 6 September. This popular venue will be home of the Surrey Macmillan Cycletta for the third year running, and with distances of 20, 50 and 100km on offer we have plenty of amazing riding to choose from, whatever your ability. The good news is you still have a small amount of time left to get in at the standard entry price, which runs until 8 August. You can see all the Macmillan Cycletta Surrey routes and sign up before the price rise here.

On Sunday 20 September Macmillan Cycletta heads to the New Forest, one of the most loved cycling spots in the whole of the UK. This course is truly spectacular from start to finish, and the event is housed at somewhere fitting of such a brilliant ride, the gorgeous Beaulieu Palace. To allow everybody to get the most out of this special ride we will be offering four routes of differing difficulties. These range from the tranquil 20km beginner route, through to the more challenging 50km, and for the more experienced riders we have 100 and 150km routes too. You can find out all the details about this special ride here.

The following week on Sunday 27 September we will be at Tatton Park, Cheshire for the finale of the Macmillan Cycletta series in 2015. We’ve saved some of the best riding for last, with unbelievably good views available as riders make their way round the quiet and beautiful roads of East Cheshire. Again we have catered for women of all abilities with four route options ranging from the shorter 20 and 50km through to the more challenging 100 and 150km routes. You can pick whichever you like when signing up, and if you need any help choosing you can find all the route information on the Cycletta Cheshire page here.

Macmillan Cycletta is aimed at riders of all ages, backgrounds and abilities so don’t be shy and please do consider joining in. If you are a little out of practice we have plenty of advice for you to help get back into your momentum, and our friends at Liv have put together a checklist to make sure your bike is in good working order before you set out. We hope to see many of you this September at a Macmillan Cycletta for some rather special cycling.
