Founded in 2004 Access Sport is an award winning charity whose mission is to give more children, particularly in disadvantaged areas, access to a wide range of quality local sport.

Access Sport works closely with volunteer-led community sports clubs with an aim to achieve thriving clubs which are also sustainable. We achieve this through funding, training and expert advice.
As a charity we tackle social exclusion, inactivity and obesity in areas where help is needed most.

Money raised through the London Cycle Sportive will help Access Sport continue working within some of the most disadvantaged areas across London, Bristol and Manchester.
Currently Access Sport are extending their BMX Legacy project to other London boroughs and are continuing to grow their support across disability sport within some of the most disadvantaged areas – giving mainstream sports clubs the tools to offer inclusive sport. For example with Forest Flyerz Hockey, one of Access Sport’s Disability sports clubs.
