• Olympic Triathlon Relay (1 person doing each discipline): 1500m Swim, 42.4km Bike, 10km Run
• Duathlon Relay (1 runner and 1 cyclist): 5km Run, 21.2km Bike, 2.5km Run
• Team Sprint Triathlon (3 people each completing a full triathlon together at the same time): 750m Swim, 21.2km Bike, 5km Run
• 10km Lake Run (timed run for individuals along Dorney Lake)
• 5km Fun Run (timed fun run perfect for beginners)
• 2km Colour Run (untimed fun run at the end of the day for individuals with coloured powder dye available to throw)
• Parent and Kids Scootathlon: Adult (390m Scoot, 250m Run) and Child ages 4-8 (390m Scoot, 390m Bike, 250m Run)

N.B. Adult scooters will be provided for the Scootathlon Relay.

There will be Dragon Boat Racing taking place during the day and capacity for this event is limited. More details about this will be announced shortly, please check The PwC Games Spark page for more information.

About the event

In celebration of the fantastic people within our firm and building on the success of the One Firm Triathlon and Ride the Nation events, we are hosting the inaugural PwC Games.

Open to all PwC staff and their families, The PwC Games is a fundraising festival of sports and challenges. From semi-pro triathletes to those who love the egg and spoon race, there will be a chance for everyone to be a champion and an opportunity for you to represent your LoS with colleagues from around the UK.

By signing up to the PwC Games, you are committing to a fundraising pledge of £100 per person to support the PwC Foundation supported charities through the Race for £3m. WETSUIT HIRE

We’ve teamed up with Zone3 to offer you some of their great range of wetsuits that are perfect for the event for you to hire or purchase.

WETSUIT RULE:

We are often asked if wetsuits have to be worn at our events. But the wearing of wetsuits in triathlon is governed by British Triathlon rules and is totally dependent on water temperature one hour before the start of the event.

We do say that wetsuits in fact help with buoyancy and warmth, so we strongly recommend that you wear one if they are optional. We will keep you updated with water temperature as we get closer to the event but at Dorney Lake it is almost always an optional wetsuit swim.

Travel & Accommodation

ETON COLLEGE ROWING CENTRE, DORNEY LAKE, WINDSOR, SL4 6QP

The event will be held at the Olympic rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Full on-site parking means you can come and go while the event is taking place (though please bear in mind that there is a 20min walk from the car park), we have showers and toilets aplenty and there is catering in the Boathouse. Please follow the yellow signs for ‘The PwC Games’ if you are arriving by car.

If you are arriving by public transport the main stations for the Lake are Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside but these may still require a cycle/taxi to get you to the event.

However, we will be running a shuttle bus service from Slough station between 07.00 and 18.00 for those arriving by public transport. The shuttle bus will return between the station and venue approximately every 10-15 mins.
