We are delighted to announce our warm weather training partner – Stephen Roche’s Cycle Training Camps in Mallorca.
Cyclists have been using Mallorca as a training base for the past 50 years. With its great quality roads and dramatic ascents and scenery, it is perfect for an active holiday. Plus it’s only a 2 hour flight from the UK.
The company based in Palmanova, Mallorca was set up by legendary former Tour de France winner Stephen Roche and is still owned and operated by Stephen and his team.
There are 4 different levels of groups riding out each morning, to provide cyclists of all ages and levels of ability with the opportunity to take part in cycle camps and holidays that were fully guided and supported by a professional team of staff.
We have a special 5% Human Race discount available if you quote the discount code HRR2015 when booking. The price of a trip varies depending on the time of year and how long you want to stay for as each trip can be tailored to your needs and availability. The discounted price varies from €594 per person for 7 nights sharing a twin room (or €769 per person for 7 nights in a single room) in low season to €692 per person for 7 nights sharing a twin room (or €846 per person for 7 nights in a single room).
Due to the incredibly warm climate in summer, group riding is only available from the beginning of February until the end of May, and from September until the end of October, but you can book some private training sessions during the off season, where you can have one to one coaching by one of the team Ride Captains.

- Tuesday: Santa Maria 88km or 110km (depending on group level)

Tailored to your needs and ability:
One of the best things about the camps is whether you are a regular cyclist preparing for the Wiggle Dragon Ride, or an absolute beginner getting ready for your first Cycletta event, the trips can be tailored to suit you. There are multiple ability groups so you will never do more than you are comfortable with and will never be riding in a group that is too quick for you.
If that wasn’t enough, each group is always led by a Stephen Roche Ride Captain and is followed by a support car which acts as a nice reminder you can call it a day at any point if it does get too much. But chances are you won’t need it!

Location & Accommodation:
Mallorca is a magnificent destination with a climate ideal for your daily rides and offers a wide variety of cycling terrain, from impressive stretches of coastline to the many challenging ascents and fast descents of the Tramuntana Mountains. Mallorca has become so accustomed to having cyclists on their quiet roads over the years it really is a completely different cycling experience to the UK.
You will be staying on a half board basis at the beautiful 4 star Ponent Mar hotel which is located in the bay of Palmanova on the South West coast of the island.

If you did want to stay in an even better hotel right next door to the Ponent Mar you can do.
