The 16 mile distance is perfect for athletes preparing for the London Marathon only 4 weeks later. There will be accurate mile markers which is ideal for pace judgment and the extremely flat course is just right for running a personal best to boost confidence for the big day.
The 8 mile distance is perfect for those runners wanting to build on a traditional 10k distance and enjoy the scenic route through the town. The course runs along the banks of the River Thames, past the outstanding Hampton Court Palace, over the renowned Hampton Court Bridge and finishes in the ancient market place in the heart of Kingston where Whole Foods Market will be on hand with some fantastic goodies.
With both runs ending in the town centre, the afternoon activities will be sorted, whether it’s shopping, sight-seeing, a relaxing meal and of course sticking around to cheer on your fellow runners.
