The series kicks off on 5th May with the Poole Spring Swim which is always a much anticipated season opener. Other highlights include the popular Hampton Court Swim. The 2.25 mile downstream swim from Hampton Court Bridge to Kingston Bridge has become a ‘must do’ for anyone interested in open water swimming and is set to sell out quickly. Also, for those keen to tread the water of Olympic Gold medal winners, it’s worth noting two of the swims will take place at Olympic venue Eton Dorney.
Another popular calendar date is the Windsor Swim on 2nd June which includes distances from 750m to 3kms. Set in scenic Windsor on the River Thames, swimmers will start and finish the swim from the bank of Alexandra Gardens.
