Catch all the action down at the Expo Village

If you get a little free time over the Triathlon weekend, be sure to get yourself across to the Expo Village. There will be loads going on for both competitors and supporters (there will also be a few things to keep the kids happy!) and it's a great place to get those last little bits of kit for race day.

Loads of our suppliers and sponsors will have stands showing off their new products, offering hands-on demonstrations and giving out a few freebies! Down at the Nokia stand, you'll have a chance to win a new Nokia N79, try out loads of their other new phones, and take a look at Nokia's range of training tools – including Nokia Maps and Sports Tracker. If you've got a Nokia mobile, you can download Nokia Maps for FREE, so if you're not 100% sure where you're headed you can get driving, cycling or walking routes to the starting line! But it's more than just a useful tool for race day. It offers high quality maps and satellite imagery and it works like a sat-nav too with voice guided navigation and speed camera warnings.

One of the many elites athletes who’ll be racing on the day will be James Cracknell, an avid user of Nokia Sports Tracker. As someone who’s obviously interested in training and fitness like James, you might be interested in Sports Tracker too. It’s been tagged the ‘ultimate training companion’ and with James as one of its many admirers, we’re not going to argue! You can download it FREE and because it’s on your mobile, you can take it out cycling, running and walking to monitor every aspect of training and performance before race day. You can even upload your routes and performance data onto an online training diary and share it with your friends and training buddies, giving you that extra bit of motivation you need to reach your goals!

We look forward to welcoming you in Windsor for triathlon registration from 10am till 4pm on Saturday 13th and on Sunday 14th for the race itself.

Win a Day With James Cracknell

The Nokia Royal Windsor Triathlon has been awarded the BTA's 'Event of the Year' a remarkable seven times. These awards, voted for by the British Triathlon Association's members, place the event as without equal in Great Britain: it has claimed six BTA awards in the last seven years, including scooping the double of BTA Event of the Year as well as the inaugural 220 Triathlon Magazine award for Race of the Year.

"The Nokia Royal Windsor Triathlon has the full backing of the whole town and with over 400 support crew, marshals and safety personnel in attendance, you will be guaranteed a superb event again this summer", says John Lunt, Event Director. Seen on television for the last four years, the race is expected to be back on TV screens again this year. Several thousand spectators will pack the streets to watch the race on the warm summer morning.

There will be an extensive pre-race expo during race registration. Leading triathlon equipment suppliers will be on hand to give advice and cater for your every need!

If you have never been to Windsor, the triathlon weekend will provide a terrific opportunity to see this historic town. Visit the 900 year old Castle and the world famous Eton College. With plenty of places to eat and shop, lots for everyone to see and do, including Legoland just around the corner, bring the family and enjoy a great weekend away. If you are a regular to the race, then you will know the format ~ great food, great T-shirt, great atmosphere and a great race!

RaceLocation

No other event in the world can compare with the historical backdrop of Windsor Castle, Eton College and the majestic River Thames. The river swim is followed by a bike course that takes in a number of villages around beautiful Berkshire and returns through Windsor Great Park. The multi-lap run course winds around the Great Castle, over Eton Bridge and along Eton High Street, passing famous Eton College. The event takes in 900 years of British history!

Windsor is very easy to get to, being only 15 minutes away from London's Heathrow Airport and only 30 minutes from central London. There are also very fast road and rail links into the centre of London.
