A large scale map of the swim course will be displayed and the pre race briefing will explain in detail the course. On the water the swim course is marked with large, highly visible swim buoys.
The run course consists of four laps of the lake for a total of 21.1km. There will be water and feed stations on the route.
St John's Ambulance is providing the first aid cover at the event.
Both distances for the run and swim course are 100% accurately measured and electronic timing gives quick and correct results.
If you are really keen, or don't fancy the swim, then take a look at the Half Marathon Human Race are organising at the same time at Dorney Lake.

The event will be held at the Olympic rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games. Dorney Lake offers clean open water swimming. The run is on fast, flat 100% traffic free roads around the lake. It's great for spectators too, they can see you swim from the side of the lake.
Full on-site parking means you can come and go while the event is taking place, we have showers and toilets aplenty and there is catering and an on-site store provided by triandrun.
