Now in its 5th year, the Rough Track has become one of theUK's most popular off-road multi-sport events. This year it returns to the picturesque surroundings of Dorney Lake in Eton (nr Windsor). Rough Track is open to both male and female competitors of all abilities, who can compete in an off-road triathlon, duathlon or relay event.

Triathletes who haven't taken part in Rough Track before will find that it's a fantastic way to end the season and it offers something very different to tarmac events. Those of you who are new to triathlons will find Rough Track an excellent entry event; it offers a manageable but exciting course where all competitors, beginners or pros have a chance of winning.

Race Comments

The course is relatively flat and obstacle-free, but the tracks will be rough and potentially muddy, so a mountain bike will be required. Leave your skinny-wheeled road bike in the garage for this one.

NOTE: If you are not a current member of Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland or the Welsh Triathlon Association, you will be liable to pay a £5 day membership fee at registration. Please show your race licence at registration.
