Now in its 4th year, the Rough Track has become one of theUK's most popular off-road multi-sport events. This year it returns to the picturesque surroundings of Dorney Lake in Eton (nr Windsor) on Sunday the 20th September 09. Rough Track is open to both male and female competitors of all abilities, who can compete in an off-road triathlon, duathlon or relay event.
Triathletes who haven't taken part in Rough Track before will find that it's a fantastic way to end the season and it offers something very different to tarmac events. Those of you who are new to triathlons will find Rough Track an excellent entry event; it offers a manageable but exciting course where all competitors, beginners or pros have a chance of winning.
Rough Track - Dorney Lake
Dorney Lake, Windsor.
This is the ideal racing venue, with a large, clean lake for swimming and miles of car-free tracks for the cycling and running. Dorney Lake is only minutes from junction 7 of the M4 and has plenty of parking space. It's also an ideal viewing venue, so bring the family and make a day of it.
