The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon took place this weekend as many lined the streets to support the wide range of triathlon talent on display. The event which is organised by Human Race, the UKs largest and most diverse mass participation events company, has been running since 1990.
The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon returns on Sunday 16th June and as ever there are a host of well-known elite triathletes taking part. Ahead of what is set to be a great day of triathlon action, Human Race have picked out those athletes you should keep an eye out for.
Been to a Human Race event recently and spotted people wearing some bright, long socks? Wondered what on earth they are wearing them for? Well wonder no more – we caught up with Matt Davey from CEP Compression to find out exactly what all the fuss is about.
Today the sun shone in Windsor, the morning was calm and still, the waters of the majestic River Thames gleamed and the stage was perfectly set for swimming. Human Race built it, and they did come. Swimmers of all ages and abilities descended upon Alexandra Gardens to test themselves and to compete. Everyone looked ready for action, especially those sporting recently acquired blueseventy wetsuits! More than 500 leapt boldly from the bank and met the challenge with purpose.
