The event, held at the Olympic rowing venue Dorney Lake, Eton, provides a flat tarmac run and bike track as well as a lake with clean, calm waters to swim. As well as being a very safe and supportive venue for a triathlon, it also offers superb spectator viewing.
The event is designed for women of all abilities to compete in a friendly, fun and non-intimidating environment.
With triathlons of all distances that can be entered as an individual or in a team, there is sure to be a race for all, that will not only challenge you but also give you the ultimate feeling of achievement and most importantly have a fun day out.
2013 sees the addition of a Scootathlon (scoot, bike and run) for boys and girls aged 4-8. These budding triathletes will compete at the beginning of the day, before the first WomenOnly wave.
Title sponsor, Shock Absorber are the UK’s leading sports bra brand, celebrating 15 years of providing expert sports bra support. Do you know that the average breast bounces significantly during swimming, cycling and running, meaning female triathletes are at risk from breast damage?
Wearing a Shock Absorber sports bra will provide upto 78% less breast bounce, giving you the support and sport performance you need and letting you focus on the finish line. For more information on their range of sports bras and stockists go to: www.shockabsorber.co.uk and check out their Facebook page for training tips.
She Active will be our retailer on the day and will be bringing down a range of items from their hand-picked performance collections from well-known brands such as Shock Absorber, Nike, Adidas, Zoca and Stella McCartney.
We’re also here to help you along the way with our open water swim training sessions and our Shock Absorber WomenOnly Triathlon Training Day.
