The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon has been awarded the BTF's 'Event of the Year' a remarkable seven times. These awards, voted for by the British Triathlon Association's members, place the event as without equal in Great Britain: it has claimed six BTF awards in the last seven years, including scooping the double of BTF Event of the Year as well as the inaugural 220 Triathlon Magazine award for Race of the Year.
"The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon has the full backing of the whole town and with over 400 support crew, marshals and safety personnel in attendance, you will be guaranteed a superb event again this summer", says John Lunt, Event Director. Seen on television for the last six years, the race is expected to be back on TV screens again this year. Several thousand spectators will pack the streets to watch the race on the warm summer morning.
The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon offers a fantastic sporting challenge and its surroundings make it the perfect race setting for a triathlon.
There will be an extensive pre-race expo during race registration. Leading triathlon equipment suppliers will be on hand to give advice and cater for your every need!
If you have never been to Windsor, the triathlon weekend will provide a terrific opportunity to see this historic town. Visit the 900 year old Castle and the world famous Eton College. With plenty of places to eat and shop, lots for everyone to see and do, including Legoland just around the corner, bring the family and enjoy a great weekend away. If you are a regular to the race, then you will know the format ~ great T-shirt, great medal, great atmosphere and a great race!

BRITISH TRIATHLON FEDERATION MEMBERSHIP FEE: If you are not a current member of Triathlon England, Triathlon Scotland or the Welsh Triathlon Association, you will be liable to pay a £6 day membership fee at registration. Please show your race licence at registration.
MP3 PLAYERS ETC: British Triathlon Rule Number 8.1 states "Any equipment that acts as an impediment to hearing or concentration is prohibited from use during an event (including transition). This includes, but is not limited to, mobile telephones (which should be switched off if stored in transition), personal stereos and MP3 players."
WETSUIT RULE: We are often asked if wetsuits have to be worn at our events. But the wearing of wetsuits in triathlon is governed by British Triathlon rules and is totally dependent on water temperature one hour before the start of the event. Read the wetsuit rule for triathlons HERE.
