Whole Foods Market Breakfast Run Event Information

Half Distance Run: 8.2 miles
Whole Distance Run: 16.2 miles


Whole Foods Market Breakfast Run offers the choice between distances of 8.2 or 16.2 miles which makes the event ideal for runners of any ability. The 16.2 mile distance is perfect for athletes preparing for the London Marathon only 3 weeks later. There will be accurate mile markers which is ideal for pace judgement and the extremely flat course is just right for running a personal best to boost confidence for the big day. The 8.2 mile distance is perfect for those runners wanting to build on a traditional 10k distance.

The course runs along the banks of the River Thames, past the outstanding Hampton Court Palace, over the renowned Hampton Court Bridge and finishes in Kingston where Whole Foods Market will be on hand with some fantastic goodie bags for all finishers.

All finishers will receive a Whole Foods Market Breakfast Run mug.

PROVISIONAL START TIME: 8:00am Mass Start for all

8.2 mile - Minimum Age 16 on Event Day
16.2 mile -
Minimum Age 18 on Event Day

CUT OFF TIME: 16.2 milers - If you feel you can’t cover the first 8.2 miles at 12 min per mile pace then please contact us.

MP3 PLAYERS ETC: Human Race strongly discourages the use of any equipment that acts as an impediment to hearing or concentration when competing. This includes, but is not limited to, mobile telephones, personal stereos and MP3 players. Human Race can not be responsible for accidents resulting from racing with such equipment.

Arriving by public transport
As this event is held in central Kingston, it is easy to arrive by public transport, however, it is a Sunday morning so trains may not be that frequent. The nearest train station is Kingston, only five minutes walk to the start. Please check for timetables and route planning.

Arriving by road
There are many car parks nearby. We have a special reduced rate for competitors at Eden Walk Car Park. This will be signed on the day, the postcode to use is KT1 1BL, or see the map below. Please allow plenty of time to park.

This is a great opportunity to do an early morning run and then meet your partner afterwards for breakfast before embarking on some endurance shopping!
