The HSBC Duathlon forms part of an annual ‘festival of multisport’ and is perfect whether you’re a seasoned veteran, a complete novice or if you simply want to take on the challenge.
The venue for the HSBC Duathlon could not be more perfect. Dorney Lake is the 2012 Olympic Rowing and Canoeing venue and the number one duathlon location of choice in the South East. The bike and run courses are completely flat and traffic-free.
From origins as a corporate event, title sponsors HSBC opened the day up to the general public in order to promote healthy living to as many people as possible. The ethos of the HSBC Duathlon is to get everyone involved in the multisport experience, be it competing, supporting or just taking in the atmosphere on the day.
Being one of the last events of the 2012 season, it’s the perfect time to use put that full season of fitness to post a fast time and have a great race. As one of the first events to use the venue after the Olympics has been in residence, the HSBC Duathlon is a great opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and get a look at the home of one of the greatest sporting events in the world first hand.

The event will be held at the Olympic rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games. Dorney Lake offers a closed bike loop around the Lake, and the run goes down the side of the lake, making it the perfect course for beginners and seasoned duathletes alike. It's great for spectators, they can see you on each lap.
Full on-site parking means you can come and go while the event is taking place, we have showers and toilets aplenty and there is catering in the Boathouse.
