The Dragon Ride will be based at Margam Park, Margam, Port Talbot, SA13 2TJ South Wales. Margam Park is well used to holding major events such as the Wales Rally GB and British Championship Mountain Bike races. The park is located right alongside the M4 motorway and is close to the main line railway stations at Port Talbot and Pyle. Port Talbot station is the nearest to the venue, approximately a 25 minute walk away. From riders feedback two main areas that will be improved are car parking and the start procedure. Car parking will be situated within the deer park only a few hundred metres from the start/finish area, the spacious eastern area of the park will accommodate a more expansive start facility in order to reduce waiting times for riders to get underway. There are also several attractions on site for family members attending the ride such as the "Go Ape" zip wire, adventure playground, fantasy land and mountain bike hire.
