ABOUT THE EVENT

Macmillan Cycletta is the UK’s leading series of women-only bike rides, designed to appeal to women of all ages and abilities. Macmillan Cycletta Cheshire is one of the most popular events in the series, starting from the picturesque Tatton Park and taking in the quiet and beautiful roads around East Cheshire.

Nutrition and Hydration

SpaToneWomenOnly240x160Feeling tired?

Did you know 9 out of 10 women do not get enough iron from their diet?

Low iron levels can cause fatigue and tiredness making it hard for you to keep up with your training programme however one sachet a day of Spatone natural liquid iron has been scientifically proven to help top up your iron levels!

Request your free sample of Spatone here!

VitaCoco240 Keep hydrated!

Staying hydrated is crucial for achieving peak performance. Vita Coco coconut water promotes rehydration as well as refuelling as it provides carbohydrate as well as fluid.

Before exercise, your main priority is ensuring you are hydrated to have the best chance of putting in your best performance. During exercise, there are no hard and fast rules about how much to drink but, 400-800ml per hour will prevent dehydration and overhydration. After exercise, the sooner you start to replace the fluid the sooner you will recover. So make drinking your priority immediately after exercise.

Click here for more information on how to stay hydrated.
