We have partnered with Zone3 to offer you their Advance wetsuit to hire for the event. Zone3 has quickly become one of the most exciting and successful brands on the market thanks to its high performance products which year on year have achieved the highest industry reviews based on speed, comfort, price point and innovation.

Zone3 - Hi Res - Lifestyle (169)The Advance wetsuit has won many awards including 220 Triathlon magazine’s “Best Buy” award and has become the market leader for first-timers and those on a budget. The suit is made from super flexible, highly buoyant neoprene for an assured swim performance.

You can:

  • Hire a wetsuit for just the event day (collecting at the event and returning to their stand after your race) for £29.95
  • Hire a wetsuit for a month (yours for a month from the date you hire it, so you can try it out before the race and on event day) for £50
  • Hire a wetsuit for the season (until 7th October 2017) for £60
  • Purchase any of the range of Zone3 wetsuit outright

Click here to check out all the options. Please note: the booking deadline to get your wetsuit in time for the event (even for day hire) is 5.30pm the Wednesday before the race.

If you’d like to hire or purchase 10 or more wetsuits in one booking, you can email with all the details (specifying the event) and Zone3 will be able to arrange a group booking for you.

We are often asked if wetsuits have to be worn at our events. But the wearing of wetsuits in triathlon is governed by British Triathlon rules and is totally dependent on water temperature one hour before the start of the event.

Water Temperature Wetsuit Rule
Water Temp less than 14 degrees Wetsuits are COMPULSORY
Water temp 14 – 22 degrees Wetsuits are OPTIONAL
Water temp above 22 degrees Wetsuits are BANNED

We do say that wetsuits in fact help with buoyancy and warmth, so we strongly recommend that you wear one if they are optional. We will keep you updated with water temperature as we get closer to the event but at Dorney Lake it is almost always an optional wetsuit swim.

Charity & Fundraising

Media TrustThe Media and Advertising Triathlon is hosted in partnership with leading media communications charity, Media Trust. We are encouraging all participants to get behind Team Media Trust and raise as much money as possible to help them to continue their vital work.

Media Trust helps charities and community groups to develop their voice, raise their profile and share the impact of their work.

We do this by convening a network of professionals from across the media industry to share their communications and media knowledge, expertise, skills and time with charitable organisations. Together, we have been working to improve the lives of people and communities across the UK for more than 20 years.

We enjoy invaluable support from the Media Industry. Their passion, creativity and communication skills help us make a huge difference to so many charities. Our corporate members provide skilled volunteers, in-kind donated resources, media training and conference venues. During 2016 we have grown our corporate members to more than 40, including Google, Facebook, BBC, Dentsu Aegis Network, Sky News, TBWA, Weber Shandwick and Trinity Mirror.
