Human Race Events

Human Race aims to provide a balanced programme of events catering for varying groups of multisport enthusiasts. As well as catering for the domestic athlete at all levels of ability, Human Race also aims to provide high profile events in the UK which will elevate the profile of triathlon at an international level. Human Race crew members are regular volunteers at ITU World Cup events, both in Europe and further afield.

Our corporate events have included the annual Unilever Triathlon, David Lloyd Leisure Triathlon, HSBC and Men's Fitness Magazine Triathlon and the bi-annual Tesco Triathlon--one of these was held in Portugal and has raised over £3,000,000 for charity.

We have a fantastic following of age group athletes - the weekend warriors. We have over 90,000 names on the database who continually enter and enjoy Human Race events. Every year we have a nominated charity. In 2008 the charity beneficiary was Leukaemia Research and Human Race athletes have raised a staggering £300,000.

We are always looking for volunteers to help deliver our top class events. You can use this form to apply to join the ever expanding Human Race team. Human Race Events organise over 30 triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, scootathlon and running events every year. Human Race crew members are regular volunteers at ITU World Cup events, in Europe and further afield.	We are currently looking to recruit paddlers and life guards to assist our water safety team in ensuring our swimmers are in the safest of hands at our events. Human Race organise over 30 triathlon and open water swim events each year, more than any other organiser. Key achievements

Human Race Events

Organised the acclaimed Commonwealth Games Triathlon at Manchester's Salford Quays venue in 2002.

Organise the annual Salford ITU World Cup race, currently the only international World ranking triathlon held in the UK. The event receives over one hour of TV coverage on BBC Grandstand.

Human Race have staged three Elite National Triathlon Championships, two Age Group Triathlon Championships, two National Duathlon Championships and two World Clydesdale Championships. In total we have hosted six BBC televised triathlons.

Human Race have also organised the televised Urban Running Series in three different UK locations: Glasgow, Manchester and London.

And, not forgetting The Fila Muti-Storey Madness - a running race in a car park at night!

In 2006, Human Race organised the Men's Fitness off road triathlon. This National magazine is promoting multisport fitness through the magazine and is using triathlon as the platform.

In 2008, Human Race managed the first triforlife Triathlon aimed at fundriasing activities within the Jewish community. Over 500 people took part and over £70,000 was raised.
