For the first time this Halloween runners will be faced with a decision when they reach the finish line – Trick or Treat? The brand new Trick or Treat Run London arrives in Richmond Park on Sunday 1 November and offers the rare opportunity to run 2k, 5k or 10k on the closed roads of this stunning royal park. Once runners have finished their chosen distance they will be faced with a unique decision, to either go down the Trick finish for a spooky surprise, or to play it safe and head in the opposite direction for a treat.
Macmillan Cycletta has already got thousands of women on their bikes this year with three hugely successful events in South Wales, Bedfordshire and Scotland. We loved every minute of these great events, but we believe that the best riding is possibly still to come! With three events in September, and the widest ever range of distances available, there are no excuses not to join in!
To use a Scottish word, the weather at Macmillan Cycletta in Perth was “dreich!” But, a little bit of rain wasn’t putting any of the hundreds of determined riders off. Hosted at Scotland’s historic Scone Palace, the participants were well prepared for the weather as heavy rain and treacherous puddles were forecast for the day. The waterproofs were on and the ladies were ready to get on their bikes and go for it – whatever the conditions!
