Breast Cancer Care WomenOnly Run raises thousands for charity
Richmond Park was the stunning location for the 2014 Breast Cancer Care WomenOnly Run this morning. Ladies of all ages and abilities were treated to unseasonably warm weather and spectacular views, but the challenge they faced was far from a walk in the park.
Over 500 women joined Victoria Pendleton this morning to ride in the final Macmillan Cycletta of 2014 in the stunning grounds of Loseley Manor in Surrey. With three distances on offer; 20km, 40km and 60km, there was something for all ability levels, with the event attracting seasoned cyclists and first timers alike.
Edward Catmur and Lara Werrett crowned winners of gruelling 24 mile event
Over 1,000 people made their way to Kingston-upon-Thames early this morning (Sunday 12 October) to take part in the annual Garmin Kingston Run Challenge. The event was returning to its traditional home in the Ancient Market following its comprehensive redevelopment which finished earlier this year.
